President George W. Bush
Respectfully submitted - Col "Bud" Day, FL - Asking President Bush to support WWII/Korea era earned military retiree medical care restoration. E-mail - Class Act Group, Inc. - Keep Our Promise "I mean what I say" President George W. Bush.

3080 ... e-mails to Non-Cosponsors; Support HR-3474.
196 ..... e-mails to Senators; Support S-2065.
25 ....... letters to President, VP, & Senators. Support HR-3474 & S-2065.

Ohio - OH
Senate

Ronald W. Nidetch - Lobbying Senator DeWine and Voinovich from Ohio on cosponsoring S2065.

Master Chief Higginbotham has called and sent letters to:
Senator DeWine (Ohio)
Senator Voinovich (Ohio)
These calls and letters have been sent on many occasions including today. Senator Voinovich has never responded and DeWine only replies on how he is saving Alaska's Oil reserve and how he is so pro veteran but never committing himself to sponsor or cosponsor. I, along with many other Ohio Veterans, have thanked the eight of the 18 Ohio Representatives who have cosponsored H.R. 3474. We are very grateful for their thoughtfulness and dedication of our veterans.

House

Ronald W. Nidetch - Lobbying Rep John Boehner Ohio 8th district on support of HR 3474.

Master Chief Charles Higginbotham has sent letters to all 435 Congressmen/women and all 50 Senators on two different occasions in the last two months, using the Legislative Tool and on many other occasions using their Web Sites.
Master Chief Higginbotham has called and sent letters on many occasions to the following (10 of 18) Ohio Representatives who have not cosponsored HR 3474 using the Legislative Tool and their Web Sites.
Representative Steve Chabot (R-OH 1st)
Representative Rob Portman (R-OH 2nd)
Representative Michael Oxley (R-OH 4th)
Representative Paul Gillmor (R-OH 5th)
Representative David Hobson (R-OH 7th)
Representative John Boehner (R-OH 8th)
Representative Patrick Tiberi (R-OH 12th)
Representative Deborah Pryce (R-OH 15th)
Representative Ralph Regula (R-OH 16th)
Representative Bob Ney (R-OH 18th)
The above Ohio Representatives have not cosponsored HR 3474 and it is the beliefs of all Ohio Veterans they are do not care of the promises made by our government for more than fifty years. If you stay in the service for 20 years or more, you and your family will receive free medical care for the rest of your life. Do these ten representatives of Ohio really care about our Veterans? If they do not care about the WW II and The Korean War Military Retirees and the “Greatest Generation’”, will they care about our brave service men and women returning from Pakistan and Iraq when they need medical care?

Oklahoma - OK
Senate

Chuck Carter - have been emailing Sen. Nickles and Inhofe to co-sign Senate Bill for Keeping promises to Military Retirees and to support SBP when it comes to the Senate

Jack Love - I have been continually e-mailing these congressmen requesting that they support "Keep the Promise Legislation" in the House and Senate (H-3474 & S2065). Senator Don Nickles (R- OK), Senator James M. Inhofe (R- OK), and Representative Tom Cole (R - 0K)

McRae USN Retired - I'm trying my best to get our retireing senator to join in, also the other senator inhofe has his hands full with our major in Okla. A enviromental super fund enviroment that has every one up in arms. I cannot get the two senators to answer me about 2065. I'll keep trying so maybe they will consider it some day.

Bill McRae USN RET - I have been emailing all 5 representatives and the two senators. I can only get one to move and thats Brad Carson. He will not sign on but says that when it comes up for vote he will vote for it. One senator is retiring and the other is embroiled in a super fund site that may just eat his lunch if he don't watch it. I just know that I'm not voting for any one that will not support the military and retired community.

Ed Gilstrap - have been continually e-mailing these congressmen requesting that they support "Keep the Promise Legislation" in the House and Senate (H-3474 & S2065). Senator Don Nickles (R- OK), Senator James M. Inhofe (R- OK), and Representative Brad Carson. Brad is a co-sponsor, I believe he is really the only one from Oklahoma who is on our side. Some of them say they are, but their actions prove otherwise. I have sent Senator Inhofe several emails, few (if any) answers. He is NOT on our side & I wonder if Senator Nickles is either (I doubt it).

Washington - WA
Senate

Bill Lock Army Ret. - Washington State - Emailed both Senator Murray and Cantwell. Murray became a cosponsor. No response from Senator Cantwell.

John Clayton - Dear Senator Cantwell: This is another request for you to sign on as a co-sponsor to S-2065. Many Veterans in WA State have contacted you regarding S-2065 and from the traffic among veterans no one has received a response from your office on this specific issue. Nor have any of us Veterans seen any indication in your weekly report concerning this issue. Your silence and lack of response to Veterans on this issue is well known despite the fact that you say our concerns (the voters) are important to you. Hopefully a response from your office to Veterans in our State will address this issue.

Bob Gervais - Rep. George Nethercutt has apparently signed on to co-sponsor HR3474. This is a major change on his part. Rep. Doc Hastings, to date, has not signed on in spite of, it seems, endless e-mails and letters requesting he do so. Perhaps the only way to get any action on the bill is to have the Discharge Petition submitted to act as a lever for better cooperation from our elected Congressional leaders.

RD Weston emailed 8 May - Jennifer Dunn, Doc Hastings, and Brian Baird, asking for cosponsorship and support of HR3474. Also, it was an embarrassment that they were the only nonsponsors for the great state of Washington.

R D Weston Ret Army, WA State. Emailed Brian Baird and Jennifer Dunn asking for their support and cosponsorship of HR3474. Doc Hastings site indicated that he 'would accept only emails from constituents'. We need someone from the 4th District to email him daily. I will TRY to get our message through to him by going the 'personal email route'.

John Clayton - Sir: (sgrannis@visp.net) - As you know the Representative from the 9 voting Districts in WA State don't respond to voters outside their District even tho I tried. The three Districts needing the most attention are 3, 4 and 8 who haven't responded to the Veterans in those areas who have contacted them many times concerning co-sponsoring HR 3474. Rep Dunn (Dist 8) won't be running for re-election as her web site stated. That leaves Rep's Hastings (4th Dist) and Baird (3rd Dist). I have no idea what the Veterans popula
