Some of the medical care that was promised was restored when the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2001 was signed into law on 30 Oct 2000. News Media Addresses
Letters To The American People via The News Media (LAP) was a letter writing campaign, by military retirees, designed to educate, inform, and gain support of the American people. This campagin started 1 May 1998. This web page contains addresses to the News Media.
The plan was to tell our story via the News Media. Military retirees were encouraged to advertise this project, across the Nation via e-mail.
We needed to write letters to Editorial Writers first, letters to the editor of our Local Newspaper second, and News Organization third.
